Our daily trips across Prince William Sound will let you see the beauty of the Alaskan Mountains, glaciers, and wildlife that inhabit the area.
Petre's Fishing Charters is owned by Chris & Dennis Petre of Salcha, Alaska and was started in 1990. Our goal has been to give our customers a safe and enjoyable fishing trip that they will always remember. We realize that each charter has to be tailored to meet the needs and the physical abilities of the customers on board.
Our boat “The Otter Dodger" was built in 2007 by Cold Water Boats of Marysville, Washington. The Otter Dodger was designed to take up to six passengers to the Gulf of Alaska in comfort and with the speed. Twin 310 HP Volvo D-6 diesels give the Otter Dodger a comfortable cruising speed from 27 to 30 knots. On a typical day we will travel from 60 miles to 115 miles to get you to the best fishing grounds in the Gulf of Alaska.
